What kind of products do you build?

Our specialty is designing and building decks, but we also construct custom railings, screened porches, sunrooms, gazebos, pergolas, arbors, privacy fences or screens, pool & spa decks, walkways, ramps, decorative concrete and other outdoor structures. We specialize in innovative outdoor creations.

What is your geographic coverage?

We serve Metropolitan Denver and the surrounding areas, including Lakewood, Thornton, Westminster, Highlands Ranch, Arvada, Aurora, Boulder, Littleton, Castle Rock, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, Kiowa and much more!

How much will a deck cost?

The price will vary depending on size, elevation, access, type of materials used, accessories, etc. We recommend you schedule a no-cost visit with us so that we may provide you with an accurate price.

What kinds of wood do you use for decks? What is the best decking material? Wood, composite, etc...

We don't limit our material choices to any one type. We use cedar, redwood, tropical hardwoods, and low-maintenance composites, depending on your functional, aesthetic and budgetary needs and desires. We do however prefer a few composite products better than others, Trex, TimberTech and Fiberon or a couple of examples.

Can I be involved in the design of my deck?

Yes! We welcome your thoughts and ideas, as we want you to be 100% satisfied with the outcome.

Are there limits on the number of deck designs from which to choose?

No! Our projects are 100% custom designed and built, reflecting on your functional, aesthetic and budgetary needs and desires.

Are you a licensed builder?

Yes, we are licensed in Denver and most surrounding counties. 

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry general liability insurance.

Is it necessary to get a building permit?

Yes, most counties require one but a few do not if the deck surface will not exceed 30 inches above the ground. We will be glad to pull the necessary permits, where applicable.

How much experience does your team have in the deck business?

Each member of the American Dream Decks team brings atleast 10 years of experience building decks and other highend construction projects, and are considered experts in working with composite decking materials.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. We will make sure the project goes the way that you want it. If there are any problems with it, we will fix them to your satisfaction. In addition to any manufacturer's product warranties, we offer a two year workmanship warranty on our projects.

Is there a charge for estimates?

No. We will gladly give you a detailed estimate. Just contact us to schedule a convenient time for you.

What do you do better than other deck building companies?

We don't do "cookie-cutter" work. We work with you, and actually encourage your involvement, to create functional and aesthetically pleasing results that you can enjoy for years to come. We will take the time necessary to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your investment in us and our products.
